"Slaying The Dragon" by the Documento Group
A performance by the Documento Group on addiction, staged at Trancendanse with free entry.
The Documento Group presents "Slaying The Dragon" at the Trancendanse art space in Thessaloniki, over three days, from Friday 23 to Sunday 25 October 2026.
The director's note starts from the phrase "chasing the dragon", which emerged in 1950s Hong Kong around opium use: the moving smoke and the user pursuing the dragon's tail serve as an image of the repetition and craving that come with addiction.
Admission is free.
