From Sunday 20 to Tuesday 22 September 2026, Thessaloniki hosts the 33rd edition of the "Symeon Mavroskoufis" basketball tournament, one of the city's long-running pre-season events ahead of the new competitive year.
It is organised by the Thessaloniki Basketball Referees Association together with the Municipality of Thessaloniki. Games take place at Ivanofeio, the indoor arena in the Toumba area that regularly hosts basketball.
